Central Falls, Rhode Island

A future space for connection, reflection, and growth.

The future G.O.T. orchard is being imagined around people before paths: a welcoming place where teens of all abilities and seniors can learn, create, rest, and care for something living together.

Someone might plant from a comfortable height, share a story in the shade, notice a pollinator, teach a skill, or simply take time to feel present. Each of those moments belongs in the vision.

Planning is still underway, and no public orchard site is open yet. As the vision develops, accessibility, safety, community voice, and responsible stewardship will guide every choice.

A shared vision for access

What community support can make possible.

These images help us imagine an orchard where access is part of the welcome: wide paths, raised growing areas, shade, seating, sensory experiences, adaptive work spaces, and meaningful roles for teens of all abilities and seniors.

With donations, a community vision for accessibility and shared participation can become real.

Funding is being sought to plan and develop an accessible intergenerational urban orchard serving Central Falls and surrounding communities. Site assessment, community input, professional guidance, partnerships, and sustained support will determine what can be built responsibly at each stage.

The long-term goal is a physical gathering place where people of all ages and abilities—from nearby neighborhoods and beyond—can learn, mentor, create, care for nature, and experience the unique belonging that comes from participating together.

Your support can help G.O.T. Orchards plan carefully, create accessible features, prepare welcoming programs, and give teens and seniors more ways to learn, mentor, create, and belong together.

Help the vision take root

Vision note: These are conceptual images, not photographs or final construction plans for a completed G.O.T. Orchards site. Specific features will depend on site assessment, participant input, professional guidance, safety requirements, partnerships, and available resources.
